Patrick Alphonso 2 months ago I’m a hockey goalie and after months of enduring chronic pain in my lower back I decided to go see my doctor. I was diagnosed with an discal hernia in L4-L5 and I was started to have issues with my left leg which kept me up all night and I just couldn’t sleep anymore. The doctor wanted me to get cortisone shots. I’m 34 years old and getting shots to relieve the pain was out of the question. One of my colleagues at work talked to me about the clinic and their decompression machine. It intrigued me and I decided to give it a shot. My impressions from my first visit their and meeting Dr. Bernatchez was “WOW“. I could already feel the positive effects just after my first decompression treatment. She also treated my upper back and neck where I was experiencing lots of tensions. In all honesty, this is the best investment I’ve ever done in my life. It started about 5 years ago, after suffering for many years (15 approx.) with lower back and knee pain I decided to take an alternative route, you see I had tried medications, physiotherapy, osteopath, even acupuncture I decide to give a chiropractor a try. With my back problems I used to be immobilized about 4 times a year were I would literally been flat on my back for a week. I have now been a patient of Francois for 5 years and in that time he has brought me out of the darkness of pain and given me the light of movement.
